How Will it Benefit the West?

It will "free the west" from all forced Bilingualism

No more parliamentary system with Canadians as "subjects" or second class citizens

An elected Republican national leader

An elected Senate

An elected Congress

No more ruling elite or ethnic group

A constitutional republic would give the West a truly elected bicameral legislative assembly which is the key to open the door toward a great new nation!

What would it be like in a Republic of Western Canada? Republic of "Freewest" for example?

The provinces would all become independent republican states.

The term "province" is British, meaning they are a dependent, dominated territories.

The candidates don't appear on the ballot! That is why we never directly elect our Premiers.

In a Republic we directly elect the leader as a Governor.

This then becomes a United States of Freewest, a new nation!

All formal ties to Ottawa and the monarchy would end!

Without the parliamentary system, the Monarchy could not be any part of the new government!

No more unelected Prime Minister! The new candidates for president would have their names right on the ballot!

CORRUPTION CONTROL

Property Rights enshrined for all citizens (the foundation of individual rights and freedoms)

No more unelected Premiers

No more appointed Senators

The President would be subject to the people's elected SENATE giving the people control with "Checks and Balances" in their government for the first time!

No more crown corporations, controlling corruption in government!

This would effectively prevent any future governments from ever getting into the free market place of commerce!

The government will no longer be free to pick winners and losers in business. . a meritocracy !

Free private enterprise (without government interference or sponsorship) would cause businesses to operate on a system of accountability and would hire employees based upon merit alone.

No more money from the new nation "Freewest" would flow into any Canadian Federal institutions in Ottawa!

No Bilingualism, No Culture Canada, No more CBC!

New support for Canadian National Defense, Army, Navy, Air Force etc.

Our own military and Coast Guard would be created. A new Freewest military to be proud of, brought up to speed and working in cooperation with America.

Without the economic drain on the new nation, new freedoms and the economic potential would cause the West to boom with new vitality!

Wonderful incentivized entrepreneurs able to keep most of the fruits of their own effort to sustain their own lives.

A new western nation would develop close trade relations with America and all other countries in the vast Pacific Rim.

No more French labeling on any products sold in the Nation of Freewest. Imported or otherwise! This would end the frustration and the associated costs of labeling to the businesses and consumers.

BOOMING ECONOMY AND GROWTH

Population growth due to economic freedom.

Exciting new Free Enterprise, truly "Freewest" broadcast networks would spring up.

New infrastructure for people friendly freedom of movement by land, sea and air!

The 4 western provinces are the wealthiest part of existing Canada!

The Prairie regions are the breadbasket, Alberta is energy resource rich and British Columbia, resource rich, lumber, the gateway to the pacific!

World trade is to south and west!.

BC borders both Washington State and Alaska.

SOCIAL BENEFITS

Western Canada is completely fluent in our English language. The New Republic will be officially English. All official government business, traffic signs, etc. shall be conducted in English only. English is the business language of the world - another good reason to make English our official language. The bondage and corruption imposed on the majority by the French minority shall end! This will free the west at last from the immoral and horrendous coercion for official bilingualism!

Not one of Canada's leaders ever stood up for the majority English speaking Canada!

In a New Western Republic, no government supported ethnic, special interest groups, languages or cultures would be supported with tax dollars. Only performance by merit will be rewarded through direct free market competition. Business reputations would be crucial to their survival. This will create an automatic cleansing effect on corruption from the system.

Culture will be determined by the people naturally - original and unique (not copied or legitimized with taxpayers money - coercion).

Culture will be left alone to evolve naturally through the people. Private business allowed to flourish, unfettered by government in a capitalist society will result in benevolent unified population of traders. No favoritism (funding or assistance of any kind) by government will be allowed which would result in a fractured society. Statism (Socialism or Fascism) stifles creativity and incentive. Capitalism is the catalyst for invention and it is the only moral social system by which man should live.

Moral responsibility and strong core values would return due to renewed enthusiasm and hope - enhanced survival instinct resulting in a thriving nation with self-reliant citizens.

Strong Families with high achievement goals.

Justice system holding criminals and government representatives accountable for crimes - reduced crime rate - improved individual moral through rich environment of opportunity.

Drastically improved health care system.

Drastically improved education led by families - we advocate the complete separation of School and State.

Cultural pressure would come from the people, not from the government.

Freedom of religion or secularism. We advocate the complete separation of church and state.

Freedom of Speech and Freedom of the Press would give rise to a new all Western broadcast networks that are totally free from government cultural edicts and propaganda.

Free access to public information. No government owned or controlled radio or TV broadcast programming of any kind. Real news! Great entertaining programming and music!

The dream of a new and free Western Nation was the dream of the genius, the late Premier WAC. Bennett! His personal war with Ottawa over the deliberate monetary rape and discrimination against the west is legendary!

The end of the dictatorship, bilingualism and rampant corruption are the main reasons to consider in the formation of a new Western Republic. The result of these actions by government is a direct threat to our survival!

"Refederation" of the provinces with any so-called "new deal" to take on Ottawa is foolish and unthinkable! It is a war that cannot be won by the disorganized, completely dominated provinces.
